CW Talent Solutions is partnering with a global multi-strategy investment platform to hire a Quantitative Researcher focused on short-horizon alpha generation across equities and futures.

The Role

Research and develop short-term predictive trading signals with holding periods ranging from seconds to hours. The focus is on market microstructure, order book dynamics, and liquidity modelling, with rapid transition from research to live production.

Requirements

Requirements

4+ years’ experience in quantitative research focused on short-horizon or intraday strategies

Strong understanding of market microstructure and execution-driven alpha

Experience working with tick-level data and execution-aware backtesting

Strong Python programming skills; C++ or kdb+ a plus

MSc or PhD in a quantitative discipline

Ability to operate in fast research and deployment cycles
